Eckoh, a U.K.-based provider of technology that secures payment information in call-center environments has launched a new solution to do the same for live chat. Eckoh was able to expand its security solution to live chat after its July 2016 acquisition of Klick2Contact. The London-based company offered a hosted suite of services designed to help e-commerce companies interact in real time with their customers through more channels. As more companies implement live chat for customer service, the ability to accept payments while still remaining in compliance with PCI requirements becomes increasingly important.
