PaymentOne Offers Direct Carrier Billing to German Mobile Operator

Carrier billing solutions provider PaymentOne Corporation said it has signed a direct carrier billing relationship with Telefónica Germany. Telefónica Germany is part of Madrid-based Telefónica SA, the second largest carrier group in the world. PaymentOne’s mpass system enables merchants to accept direct carrier billed payments for virtual, digital and physical goods. Mpass enables Telefónica Germany subscribers to charge services up to €30 ($43.13) directly to their mobile phone carrier bill. “PaymentOne is an established market leader in carrier billing with the financial stability and the broad product spectrum we look for in a payment partner,” said Robert Erdmann, manager direct-to-bill and enabling services, Telefónica Germany. PaymentOne said its financial grade carrier-billing services are available to merchants worldwide, connecting over 3 billion consumers with merchants in over 70 countries.
