Nexway Chooses Retail Decisions for Fraud Prevention

Retail Decisions (ReD), the London-based payment fraud prevention service, announced it has partnered with Nexway, a European technology provider for the digital download distribution of software and games. Nexway will be integrating ReD’s proprietary ReD Shield(R) fraud prevention service to protect all its clients. ReD said the fully outsourced service typically reduces merchant fraud to well below 1 percent, according to a press release. “Each time we cooperate with a new client, the number of transactions that we handle increases tenfold,” said Franck Giroudon, COO of Nexway. “We needed a highly scalable and secure solution for our partners in addition to a faultless and fast customer experience. ReD has the capability to handle huge transaction volumes with unsurpassed processing speeds on a global basis.” ReD said it screens 19 billion transactions in 172 countries each year.
