This year, CardNotPresent.com turns five years old. Like the industry we cover, we’re relatively young, but confident in our place. During those years, our mission has not wavered: deliver the news, information, education and inspiration CNP merchants and service providers need through our growing family of media platforms and do it with independence and integrity. How we deliver on that mission has evolved considerably in a half decade.
Change at CardNotPresent.com has been continuous. It’s the only way a business survives and flourishes. We have watched our original publication—The CNP Report—grow from a few trusted beta testers to a community of tens of thousands that voraciously consumes our breaking news and intelligence on global trends, companies and individuals influencing the card-not-present payments space. We have shepherded the CNP Expo as it outgrew venue after venue, becoming the standard for CNP industry events. We have expanded into producing compelling, lead-generating B2B content delivered through white papers, Webinars and primary research. And, our original team experienced a revolutionary transformation as we joined forces with global trade show organizer Reed Exhibitions—a union that has made our most recent change possible.
With the ability to leverage the digital assets of a world-class company, today we unveil the new CardNotPresent.com. The new design of our flagship media property represents a leap forward in functionality and usability. I invite you to dive in and explore. Tell me what you like, and what you don’t (you can find me in the About Us section). Much of our success stems from listening to our community’s needs and responding to them.
Our longtime readers will recognize the new Website as another example of how we never stop improving the user experience and never stop delivering increasing value for our partners. It’s a foundation we’ll use to introduce even more features and functionality in the coming weeks. For now, however, make yourself at home at our new place.
As editor-in-chief of CardNotPresent.com, D.J. Murphy has day-to-day control of the editorial content on the Website and serves as the publication’s main reporter and writer. He has been with the company since its inception, providing direction on content and ensuring the organization remains a source of independent news card-not-present merchants and service providers can trust.
