SigntaureLink, a Mississippi-based anti-fraud technology provider, has appointed a former high-ranking FBI cybercrime expert to its board of directors. SignatureLink said Shawn Henry, executive assistant director of the FBI’s Criminal, Cyber, Response and Services Branch when he retired in March 2012, has been a recognized leader of anti-cybercrime efforts since the Internet’s early days in the late 1990s.

“If you want to know anything about cybercrime or cybersecurity, you go to Shawn Henry,” said Greg Wooten, CEO of SignatureLink. “He is the best in the field, and we are honored to announce that he has joined the SignatureLink board of directors.”

SignatureLink provides technology that enables the capture of electronic signatures during the checkout process for online transactions, which benefits merchants during chargeback disputes and in cases of fraud.
