ClearSale Launches for U.S. Merchants ClearSale, one of a growing number of fraud prevention companies offering merchants a guarantee against chargebacks, today announced its solution is available to U.S.-based e-commerce merchants. The company, which has offices in São Paulo, Brazil and Miami, was founded in 2001 by former Olympic hurdler Pedro Chiamulera. ClearSale leverages a combination of machine learning, manual review and “actionable problem solving” to render an approve/decline decision. Merchants pay a per-transaction fee on approved transactions and ClearSale guarantees their decision by covering chargeback costs on any approved transactions that result in fraud.
