CNP Expo Sponsor Snapshot: First Data and Chargeback.com
April 20, 2015
Education is our highest calling. Merchants and service providers that attend the CNP Expo can expect more than 40 hours of information, best practices and real-world experience over three days that attendees can take home and use to save time and money. At the 2015 CNP Expo, two companies—First Data and Chargeback.com—have demonstrated their commitment to collaborative education in the card-not-present industry by stepping forward to sponsor one of the two tracks of educational content that are the centerpiece of the entire event.
In the February 2014 Ecommerce Platform Scorecard from Javelin Strategy and Research, First Data Corporation ranked highest among payment processors in number of payment types accepted, in international capabilities including multicurrency support, and placed second in fraud and security features. Beyond enabling credit-card acceptance, its payment processing platform supports a wide array of payment types, including check acceptance and now Apple Pay in the U.S. They also provide global acquiring and pricing solutions, which simplify and provide seamless, secure transactions around the globe.
“First Data has been a long-time supporter of the CNP Expo,” said John Nicola, head of e-commerce sales and corporate third party relationships at First Data. “The Expo is fertile ground to strengthen relationships, tell our innovation stories and collaborate to keep our industry relevant as payments evolve.”
Chargeback.com provides chargeback management solutions for card-not-present merchants. The company’s managed services program includes responding to a merchant’s chargebacks by using its automated system and custom templates. Chargeback.com’s leadership is excited to showcase a new platform at the Expo, called CART, which allows merchants the ability to respond to their own chargebacks and automatically generate a personalized chargeback response in a matter of minutes. Both products come with individualized reporting, providing merchants with the ability to understand the outcomes of their chargebacks and the impact on their business.
“We are happy to be part of an industry that is growing and changing so quickly,” said Mike Davis, vice president of sales for Chargeback.com. “As a Track Sponsor we are thrilled to support to the subject matter experts in some incredibly timely and important panel discussions. We’re excited to hear what they have to say.”
As track sponsors, both companies will have the opportunity to participate in the introduction of each session in their track, while also having plenty of opportunities to network and share more information about their products one-on-one with attendees. If you are interested in learning more about either company, or would like to set up a meeting while at the Expo, you can contact First Data’s Nicola at firstname.lastname@example.org , or Davis of Chargeback.com at email@example.com .
