Chargeback.com Unveils Automated Chargeback Response Solution at CNP Expo

Chargeback.com, a Sandy, Utah-based provider of chargeback management technology for card-not-present merchants, today at the CNP Expo in Orlando, Fla., launched a software solution that enables merchants to automate the chargeback-response process. The company said its Chargeback Automated Response Tool (CART) will increase the number of chargebacks a merchant is able to respond to by automatically pulling documentation and generating a customized response to each chargeback. On average, according to the company, because of the labor intensive nature of the process, merchants only respond to about half of all chargebacks filed. CART, however, automatically performs a task merchants are happy to have off their plates, said Tim Coltrell, CEO of Chargeback.com.
“The response from the market has been tremendous,” Coltrell said. “It has never been easier for merchants to respond to chargebacks. CART enables merchants to reclaim the millions of dollars in lost revenue they worked hard to get.”
