Whitepages Pro Database Now Includes Every Phone Number in U.S. and Canada

For many online retailers, checking phone numbers can give them valuable insight into potentially fraudulent orders. Whitepages Pro late last week said that its “phone intelligence solution” now can provide data for 100 percent of the phone numbers in North America. The information the Seattle-based company’s technology can unearth about every phone number in the U.S. and Canada includes whether the phone is mobile or landline, what carrier is providing the number’s service, if the number is on the National Do Not Call Registry, whether the phone is prepaid or on a contract and it also can generate a proprietary score indicating the likelihood the phone has engaged in spam activity.
