Visa Holds Chargeback Training in Bahrain

With e-commerce poised to explode worldwide, the attendant challenges of accepting CNP payments are beginning to be addressed in new regions. In Bahrain recently, Arabian news outlets reported that Visa held a training course on dispute resolution for the banking staff at the Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance (BIBF). The Manama, Bahrain-based organization provides training, education and professional development programs for the financial services industry and said the Visa course was designed to bolster the skills of the BIBF’s chargeback staff. The five-day training is designed to help bankers in the region resolve disputes between consumers and merchants more cost-effectively. Bank in the region that took part in the training included Demirbank, Ahli United Bank, Arab Financial Services, Bahrain Islamic Bank, CrediMax, Khaleeji Commercial Bank, Al-Rajhi Bank and CAC Bank.
