TeleSign Offers Two-Factor Authentication App
Feb. 25, 2013
TeleSign, a Los Angeles-based Internet security and authentication firm, last week launched a mobile app it said enables any size businesses to offer two-factor authentication for their services. TeleSign Authenticator works through push notification or by leveraging a cryptographic key through a soft token. The company said the new product can serve as a stand-alone application for an individual service or can aggregate two-factor authentication functionality into a single app for multiple services or Web properties.
“By white labeling the TeleSign Authenticator, TeleSign allows companies to brand their own offerings and keep their security solutions safely guarded,” said Charles McColgan, TeleSign CTO. “TeleSign continues to be the insider’s secret for securing global users and massively reducing fraud for the world’s largest online service providers and Web properties.”
