Payvision, an international e-commerce payments processor based in Amsterdam, recently announced it has chosen TelecityGroup to supply a fully redundant infrastructure and guarantee no loss of service to its customers. Payvision said outsourcing its customer infrastructure and back-office systems to London-based TelecityGroup’s data center will enable it to securely process a forecast 75 million transactions in 2010. Payvision enables multi-currency transactions for Web retailers in 40 countries including the U.S., Japan, Korea, Australia and the Netherlands. “In the e-commerce market reliability and availability of services are crucial,” Gijs op de Weegh, Payvision’s CFO said . “Payment options that don’t function will immediately cost web retailers customers and returns. So as a service provider to e-commerce companies, we can’t permit ourselves any downtime at all. Also, e-commerce is developing so rapidly that we can only hold on to our leading role when we are supported by a party that also meticulously follows these developments and allows us to react to them fast. TelecityGroup is the right company for us.”
