PayStand, an online payment platform that emerged from beta in April, has released a new API it said makes it easier for merchants to accept any online payment method they want including cards, echeck or bitcoin. The company said the new API enables developers to create desktop and mobile checkout featuring a one-click payment experience for increased conversion, but that includes the an increasing array of payment options for consumers.
"We allow new organizations with our API to build new forms of fintech and money transfer movement, without having to do the difficult stuff, and really question some of the basic tenets of the financial system, using our infrastructure," said Jeremy Almond, CEO of PayStand. "The PayStand API is providing developers the opportunity to build any type of payment experience on top of the PayStand solution, so they can be innovative and creative in their approach to payments."
