One Billion Mobile Subscribers Have Access to Bango Direct Carrier Billing Payments
Oct. 22, 2012
Bango, a U.K.-based technology provider, said Friday that the agreements it has struck with more than 90 carriers around the world—principally in Europe, North America and Asia—mean more than a billion mobile subscribers have access to one-touch mobile payments. The company said it aims to continue expansion by pursuing agreements in other geographies as well.
“It’s taken twelve months to double our reach and hit the one billion milestone,” said Bango CEO Ray Anderson. “With momentum and market growth in our favor it won’t be long before our reach is two billion and beyond. The next billion will likely be found in the emerging economies of Brazil, Russia, India and China, where we’re already making progress.”
