Ogone Becomes Ingenico Payment Services As part of an overall rebranding, French card-terminal manufacturer Ingenico said Ogone has become Ingenico Payment Services. Acquired by Ingenico in January 2013, Brussels-based PSP Ogone provides payment services for European e-commerce merchants. The company comprises e-money issuer Tunz.com, payment processor easycash, easycash Loyalty Solutions and offline transaction management platform Axis.

“The Ogone name changes, but our strengths remain unchanged: our unique expertise in online payments, our proximity to our customers and a driving force for innovation in managing and securing of online payments,” said Jurgen Verstraete, managing director of e-commerce solutions at Ingenico Payment Services. “Our new global brand will enable us to support our customers and guide them through commerce evolution on all channels, in both their domestic market and internationally. We will benefit from the leverage of a single global brand to persuade a growing number of merchants to use Ingenico Payment Services to boost their sales.”
