MRC to Unveil Results of Three Studies at Annual Conference

The Merchant Risk Council (MRC), a trade association focused on electronic commerce risk, will unveil the results of three original research studies at its 2011 Annual e-Commerce Payments and Risk Conference in Las Vegas. Details related to the first Payment Security Survey will be presented along with the MRC's Annual Fraud Survey and the upcoming Payments Benchmarking Survey. "The findings of the MRC's benchmarking studies will help merchants determine how their payments and fraud operations fare compared with their peers across these geographies," said Tom Donlea, executive director of the MRC. "In years to come, we expect that the MRC's subsequent studies will provide important trend data that will indicate that the payments ecosystem has become more efficient and cost effective for merchants." The MRC partnered with Cybersource, Trustwave and Chase Paymentech on the surveys.
