ControlCase Enables PCI Compliance in the Cloud

July 19, 2012

A McLean, Va.-based company specializing in compliance solutions hopes to give cloud computing a boost with a new service that will address security concerns published reports say have led to the U.S. lagging behind Asia-Pacific and Latin American companies in that area. ControlCase’s Compliant Cloud software assists companies in keeping their cloud-based systems compliant with security standards in health care, payments and other information technology spaces.

In the payments realm, ControlCase’s solution helps payment providers that want to leverage cloud computing to deliver their products and services comply with the PCI DSS security regime. A company spokesperson confirms that the solution is in the field.

“Skava, for example, is one of the leading providers of mobile, tablet, social and in-store solutions to a number of the largest retailers in the U.S.,” the spokesperson says. “Skava is PCI certified and has been a ControlCase client for many years. They recently signed up for the cloud offering.”

ControlCase offers Compliant Cloud as part of its Compliance as a Service platform, a suite of compliance and security services, including internal and external security testing, 24/7/365 data log monitoring and alerting, policy management, training and certification
