Text2Pay Launches One-Tap Mobile Payments

Text2Pay, a New York City-based direct carrier billing technology provider, yesterday launched a one-tap billing system for mobile Websites it said provides a frictionless mobile payment experience. The company said Tap2Pay can be integrated in any mobile Website, app or service that is accessible via a mobile browser. Consumers who make purchases using the system bill them to their wireless account.

“Our merchants, which include gaming, dating and file share sites, can now reduce their payment flow to just one tap. It’s an easy frictionless flow,” said Mark Reiken, director of Text2Pay. “Tap2Pay uses an identification process to recognize the user’s phone number, so the user will not have to input any information such as a password or PIN authentication.”
