MRC Elects New Board Members

The Merchant Risk Council (MRC), an association of merchants focused on risk in the ecommerce payments space, recently announced new board members for 2010 and 2011. New members of the MRC Global board are: Pam Schneider, general counsel, Accertify; Ronda Sifford, risk and fraud operations group manager, Microsoft; and Rossini Zumwalt, senior director, e-commerce payment & risk strategy, Symantec. New members of the Americas Advisory Board are: Kristin Hoyne Gomes, director, global fraud risk management, American Express; David Bledsoe, credit and fraud risk manager, Hewlett-Packard; Kevin Sprake, regional director, North America, Retail Decisions; Paul Funari, vice president, corporate security, UPS; and Kate Lepow, senior product manager, global payments, Yahoo! “The collective power of the brands that gather on the MRC board is amazing,” said Tom Donlea, MRC Executive Director. “It is our job to harness this power and the creative energy of this group to realize our mission of making e-commerce more efficient, safe and profitable.”
