Moneris Adds E-Commerce Option to Morris

Canada’s largest card-payment processor yesterday said it has added an e-commerce option to its cloud-based retail management offering. Toronto-based Moneris said the e-commerce feature, added to its Morris product, enhances omnichannel efforts by delivering integrated payment processing across physical and virtual channels.
“Moneris is constantly striving to develop and deliver innovative and secure solutions to help merchants meet the evolving needs of their customers,” said Jeff Guthrie, chief sales and marketing officer for Moneris Solutions Corporation. “Morris’ new e-commerce capability allows merchants to optimize the sale of their goods to customers, regardless of channel, helping take their business to the next level.”
The company said Morris helps retailers instantly establish an online store using pre-defined themes or a custom option. It enables merchants with a retail storefront to share inventory data in-store and online.
