MACH Partners with payvia for Direct Carrier Billing in U.S.

Feb. 7, 2013

Direct carrier billing provider MACH this week partnered with mobile payments provider payvia. The move will enable the Luxembourg technology company to launch its direct carrier billing service in the U.S. Direct carrier billing offers mobile users the ability to make digital purchases with one click and offers merchants a payment method with higher conversion rates than other alternatives.

“MACH shares our view that carrier billing offers unique benefits over other mobile payment technologies and the company’s heritage in delivering frictionless payments for major application stores and merchants makes them an ideal partner for us,” said Darcy Wedd, president of payvia. “Direct operator billing offers a superior checkout on the mobile device and boosts the mobile ecosystem through new revenue streams, which is why we strongly believe it to be the payment model of the future.”
