Ingenico Unveils Payments Suite for Mobile Commerce
June 16, 2016
This week, Ingenico ePayments launched a suite of tools for online merchants that want to offer customers the ability to engage and pay within mobile apps or mobile Websites. ePayments is the online and mobile commerce unit of French POS terminal manufacturing giant Ingenico, formed after the company integrated the acquisitions of online payments processor and acquirer GlobalCollect and PSP Ogone. Companies can integrate the new product, Ingenico Connect, through an API or use hosted payment pages to optimize mobile checkout with access to 150 payment methods and 50 languages. This, the company said, will offer localization for m-commerce businesses that want to sell outside their own markets.
“With Ingenico Connect, we have made integration with our platform easy, fast and secure for our clients. And with our mobile-first approach, they have all the tools and services they need to optimize the checkout experience and drive conversion,” said Ludovic Houri, vice president of product at Ingenico ePayments. “Many online businesses struggle to convert traffic—particularly mobile traffic—into sales. That is why we designed Ingenico Connect, and it is very rewarding to see the results our clients are achieving with it.”
