ID Analytics Launches New Version of Fraud-Detection Solution

July 25, 2013

ID Analytics, a San Diego-based company focused on risk management, yesterday introduced a new version of its flagship antifraud solution. The company said its ID Score solution harnesses the power of one of the largest national databases of consumer behavioral data for fraud detection with special attention in the new version to purchases made via mobile applications. The software leverages partnerships with several device-authentication providers to deliver real-time assessments on billions of devices owned by hundreds-of-millions of Americans.

“Companies are increasingly competing for customers and offering the convenience of online and mobile applications as a way to stand out,” said Garient Evans, director of Identity Risk Solutions at ID Analytics. “ID Score 8.3 eliminates the drawn-out application and identity verification processes that lead to abandoned applications. ID Score 8.3 helps companies reduce excessive reviews of low-risk applications and focus risk mitigation strategies on the highest risk applications associated with suspicious devices and suspicious identities.”
