Credorax Licensed as Merchant Acquirer in Japan Credorax, a Boston-area online merchant acquirer for cross-border transactions has received a license to become a financial institution and acquiring bank in Japan. As a licensed acquirer in Japan, Credorax enables U.S., European and other merchants around the world who want to sell there to process transactions locally through its single, unified platform. The company claims it is one of the first international acquirers to break into Japan and will make it easier for others to do so in the future.
