CreditCall, QuickPay Partner on Mobile Parking Payment App

CreditCall, a Bristol, U.K.-based PSP, has been chosen to provide payment processing for a new mobile payment solution aimed at the U.S. parking industry. QuickPay Corp. has developed a mobile app that will enable consumers to find, access, and pay for parking using their smartphones across all parking formats, including on-street parking meters, surface lots, gated garages and valet parking. CreditCall, whose online payment gateway will handle the back end for the QuickPay app, has been working with parking providers around the world since its inception in 1997, starting with credit-card processing and moving now into mobile payments.

“Historically CreditCall has been involved in the car-parking sector, primarily with unattended meters you’d find in Europe, but increasingly in the U.S. as well,” Jeremy Gumbley, CTO of CreditCall told “Everything is coming through our payment gateway. We look at a parking meter or a mobile phone or any other kind of device as another way of getting a transaction through our payment gateway.”

Using CreditCall, QuickPay customers only have to enter their card details, regardless of where they use the system.
