Cortex Moves HQ to Mass.
June 23, 2014
Cortex MCP late last week announced it has moved its corporate headquarters east. The company, which provides secure technology for mobile wallets, has reversed the trend of moving tech companies to California by relocating from the Golden State to Cambridge, Mass. While it isn’t quite Silicon Valley, Cambridge’s proximity to tech talent coming out of MIT, Harvard and a host of other Boston-area schools has made it a national hub for technology companies.
“We look forward to working with the community here to assemble the team that will advance the Cortex MCP platform and help finally realize the promise of the mobile wallet,” said Rob Stringer, vice president of product and business development.
The company said it will leverage local and national talent to build out its engineering, product development, marketing, sales and operational support teams.
