Colo. Startup Aggregates Online Payment Options

Dec. 22, 2011

InspirePay, a Boulder-based startup company, this week launched the first universal payment platform that consolidates all online commercial transaction options into a single, streamlined, secure and customizable payments hub. The company said its platform aggregates all Internet commerce choices—from credit cards to proprietary systems like PayPal, Google Checkout, Dwolla and AmazonPayments—and enables businesses and consumers to make and receive payments online without the complexity of closed systems that dominate the payments industry today. “Despite new systems coming online all the time, they remain closed, complex networks with hidden fees that continue to frustrate businesses and their customers,” said InspirePay Founder and CEO Mark Fischer. “Aggregated under a fully open network with our powerful Application Programming Interface, InspirePay makes it possible for anyone to set up a payment page, brand it, customize it and connect their payment methods, all with frictionless integration.”
