Several companies serving the card-not-present payments space recently announced notable personnel moves:
Canadian payments processor Moneris has named industry veteran Angela Brown as CEO. Brown has served in a variety of roles over 25 years in the financial services industry in the U.S. and Canada. Most recently, Brown led the merchant and acceptance strategy team at MasterCard. Prior to that, she served in senior roles at Acxsys, TSYS Acquiring, Visa and CIBC.
Tom Donlea has been named the director of risk services at WhitePages . In his new role, Donlea will help drive the growth and development of the company’s antifraud platform WhitePages PRO. Donlea comes to WhitePages after a seven-year stint as the executive director and managing director, Americas for the Merchant Risk Council.
Digital River has appointed Ed Eger to its board of directors. Most recently, Eger served as senior vice president and general manager of the Americas at PayPal. He also was an advisor to the CEO at PayPal’s parent company, eBay. Eger spent a decade at Citigroup in various roles, rising to CEO and business head of the company’s international cards business.
San Diego-based risk management technology company ID Analytics has named a new chief scientist. Michael Lazarus will lead the analytical modeling development team that designs and builds models and algorithms used in ID Analytics’ risk scoring services. Most recently, Lazarus was vice president of analytics at Atigeo. Previously he served as director of analytic science at FICO.
