Cleverbridge, a Cologne, Germany-based e-commerce platform provider focused on software and cloud merchants, said this week it has added several new payment methods for its merchants selling in Scandinavia and Asia. The company added support for Swedish Real-Time Banking and Finnish Real-Time Banking and can facilitate payments using the Malaysian Ringgit. Cleverbridge said enabling international consumers to pay on a Website using payment methods with which they are comfortable is the way to maximize global sales.
“As more companies are realizing, the online marketplace requires international capabilities that go way beyond translating your website into a foreign language,” said Christian Blume, CEO, cleverbridge. “Shoppers from emerging markets want e-commerce that is familiar to them and meets their needs, not those of another country. The new currency and payment methods add to our extensive localization capabilities that enable clients to seamlessly sell into rapidly growing markets around the world.”
