Unveils New Look

DJ Murphy This fall, will turn two years old. During that time our mission has not wavered: deliver the news, information, education and inspiration CNP merchants and service providers need through our growing family of media platforms and do it with independence and integrity. How we deliver on that mission has evolved.

Change at has been constant. Every quarter or so, we have added to our offering: launching the CNP Report, upgrading our servers to handle steady growth, adding Spanish and French translations, hiring an editor-in-chief (yours truly), launching a trade show and industry awards. Today, a newly redesigned Website and the announcement of the date and location of the 2013 CNP Expo continue our effort to add value for our subscribers and sponsors.

Since I came on board in March to oversee the content of the portal and the CNP Report, we have added the CNP Expo—an annual destination for merchants and service providers from around the world to educate themselves on the full range of CNP issues and work together to form the partnerships that will drive the industry forward in the years to come—and the CNP Awards—a special event to honor the state-of-the-art in card-not-present technology and service.

The march forward continues with the overhaul of the portal we’re unveiling today. The new design makes it easier and more efficient for readers to consume the news that matters most to them.

Our longtime readers will recognize the new Website as another example of how we never stop improving the user experience and never stop delivering increasing value for our advertisers. It’s a foundation we’ll use to introduce even more features and functionality in the coming weeks.

Also, I’m happy to announce the 2nd annual CNP Expo will return to Orlando, Fla. in May 2013. Mark May 20-23 on your calendar and join us at the Omni Orlando Resort at ChampionsGate as we follow through on the promise of our successful inaugural event. Our tradition of delivering ever increasing value to our subscribers, sponsors and attendees will continue with a new program and expanded networking opportunities.

So explore the new site and plan on joining us in Florida next spring knowing we have doubled down—as many of you have in betting on this exploding industry—to ensure we’re bringing you the most relevant content in the most easily digestible format.
