British Airways Chooses Accertify for Fraud Prevention

British Airways this week revealed it has chosen Accertify, a wholly-owned subsidiary of American Express, to provide its anti-fraud solution for the global carrier’s e-commerce Website. Accertify, which says the London office it opened last year has already seen significant “new business wins” in the U.K. and Europe, will provide British Airways with its “end-to-end solution that addresses the entire business process of combating fraud from card-not-present purchases to online scams and policy abuse and other data management challenges,” according to Michael Long, Accertify’s vice president for Europe, Middle East and Africa.

Andrew Warman, business support manager in the Asset Protection Group at British Airways, says: “With Accertify’s comprehensive, flexible and efficient solution, our customers can continue to book British Airways with confidence giving them the best overall online travel experience.”
