BlueSnap, Kount Partner for Fraud Prevention

E-commerce and mobile gateway provider BlueSnap has partnered with antifraud technology provider Kount to enhance its suite of fraud-protection services. The Waltham, Mass.-based company said Kount’s technology will enable their merchant clients to better protect their revenue, defend their reputations and help increase conversion. BlueSnap said it will leverage the Boise, Idaho-based company’s solution to identify payment fraud, account fraud and account takeovers (which are gaining widespread attention after two very high-profile instances in recent weeks).
“We are very excited about partnering with Kount as it will help our merchants sell globally, securely and safely via one single integration,” BlueSnap CEO Ralph Dangelmaier told CardNotPesent.com. “Given the ever changing and complex online selling environment, we want to provide our merchant base with front line and top notch fraud mitigation and prevention tools, and that’s what Kount provides us.”
According to Kount Senior Vice President of Sales Jack Alton, BlueSnap’s expertise in enabling e-commerce and mobile transactions around the globe means they are facing additional fraud threats. “We’re proud to have a fraud prevention technology that can vigilantly protect merchants no matter what country they sell in and no matter what payment options they use,” he said.
