3dCart Adds Visa Checkout
Dec. 8, 2014
Florida-based e-commerce platform provider 3dCart last week revealed it has added Visa Checkout as a payment option it merchants can offer to consumers. Visa unveiled Visa Checkout in July as a replacement to digital wallet V.me, which, in terms of consumer adoption, has disappointed. 3dCart said the payment method, which lets users enter credit- or debit-card information and enables simplified online checkout, will be available to its merchant base of 17,000 and all new customers using the 3dCart platform at no extra charge.
Gonzalo Gil, founder and CEO of 3dCart, said: “Visa Checkout helps us stay true to our promise of driving innovation through value, and we are certain our online store owners will love having Visa Checkout as an important part of 3dCart’s ever expanding service offerings.”
